Description:
While it is LucasArts?desire to support our retail partners, we must also uphold the legacy
of the Star Wars property and support those advertising activities reflective of a premium
brand. Our retail partners are free to advertise and sell LucasArts products at whatever price
they choose. However, LucasArts must selectively choose the advertising it will fund based upon a
set criteria that does not undercut the positioning of the product. To that end, we are
instituting a Minimum Advertised Price Policy (M.A.P) for the following title:
- Any violation of M.A.P. involving
advertising supported by LucasArts? funds
will result in the loss of MDF support for a
period of ninety (90) days from the date on
which written notice of the violation is
provided by LucasArts.
- The M.A.P policy, for STAR WARS
BATTLEFRONT II will be lifted ON NOVEMBER
25, 2005, unless otherwise notified, in
writing, by LucasArts.
